Baptism

Parents wishing to have a child baptized are required to be registered as members of the parish and have a preparation class/meeting with our pastor, Fr. Joe Ring or Fr. First Reconciliation and First Eucharist

Children who were baptized as infants prepare for these two sacraments in second grade, both in Our Saviour School and our Parish School of Religion (PSR).  Laura DeFrain is our Sacramental Coordinator.  Call the parish office for more information, (217) 245-6184.

Marriage

Couples wishing to be married in the Church are to contact a priest at least six (10) months prior to the proposed wedding date. Please contact the parish office for more information (217) 245-6184. 

Sacrament of Confirmation

Confirmation takes place once each year for the 3rd,  graders of the parish.  In order to be confirmed, students must participate for at least one year of preparation through Our Saviour School or PSR classes.  In addition to instruction, candidates are required to participate in service projects and a day of retreat.  Laura DeFrain is the coordinator for this Sacramental program. 

Occasionally, for various reason, there are some adults who were not confirmed as a youth.  These adults should contact the parish office, (217) 245-6184.

Sacrament of the Sick

This sacrament is open to everyone who is sick or especially those who are having surgery.  Please contact one of the priests or the parish office to schedule a time for this sacrament of healing.
